The lift is of electro-mechanical type. No hydraulic cylinders are used, hence no problem of oil leakage. Also there is no chance of the vehicle descending automatically due to leakage in the hydraulics. Extremely safe design. Limit switches cut off power to the motor in case anything fails. Each carriage has an additional safety nut in additional to the main nut. If the main nut fails, the safety nut automatically takes the load and prevents the carriage from slipping down. |
